Substance Use Team

The Substance Use Team provides a Care Act compliant assessment to any person, over the age of 18yrs, within Sefton who is experiencing issues with substance use/dependency, for referral to in-patient detoxification/rehabilitation. The team commission appropriate rehabilitation programmes to meet individuals needs and assess individuals currently in the treatment system for Adult Social Care packages. Individuals are supported to access and maintain housing and an aftercare plan is developed following residential rehabilitation programme. Individuals are encouraged to become self-sufficient and access education and employment.
